Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, applicants must be affiliated with a Texas institution, including academic faculty, postdocs, students, and clinicians.

  • GCC REACH primarily offers mentorship and strategic guidance to develop a Product Commercialization Plan (PCP). However, select projects that meet certain milestones may receive up to $50,000 in funding for milestone.

  • The main value of the GCC REACH program lies in its expert guidance and the development of a comprehensive Product Commercialization Plan (PCP). Additionally, successful applicants will work with a customized Strategic Advisory Team to help navigate the commercialization process.

  • Applications are accepted year-round. Once submitted, you’ll schedule a 30-minute Technology Feedback Forum (TFF) with expert reviewers. Successful applicants move forward to develop a Product Commercialization Plan (PCP) with customized support.

  • Applications are accepted anytime, but there are cutoffs for Technology Feedback Forums (TFFs). It’s first come, first served, so apply early to secure your spot.
